Wilhelm de Lacu († 1450 ) was abbot of the Auhausen Monastery from 1422 until his death .

Life

Little is known about the life of Wilhelm de Lacu. In today's Protestant parish church , the former Benedictine monastery church of St. Maria in Auhausen , there is an epitaph for him. As a relief, the deceased is shown in official costume with crook and writing tablet in his hands, standing in a keel arch niche. Above it can be seen two floating angels blowing the trumpet . The family coats of arms are on the side .
