Wilhelm von Breitschwert (judge)

Wilhelm Gustav Freiherr von Breitschwert (born June 19, 1797 in Stuttgart ; † October 26, 1864 there ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a collegiate director and state councilor, von Breitschwert studied law in Tübingen , where he was the founder of the Arminia Tübingen fraternity in 1816 . After graduating, he became director of the Tübingen court. He was the owner of the manor in Ehningen in the upper office of Böblingen . From 1856 he was President of the Württemberg State Court. He was a councilor and royal chamberlain .

From 1848 to 1849 and from 1851 to 1856 he was a member of the Württemberg state estates for the knighthood of the Neckar district .
