Coming from the house of Quadt , Wilhelm von Quadt-Wykradt-Isny was the son of Count Otto Wilhelm von Quadt-Wykradt-Isny (1758–1829) and his wife Dorothea Charlotte Freiin von Neukirchen called Nyvenheim (1749–1785). He had been married to Countess Maria Anna von Thurn and Valsassina (1788–1867) since 1812. The marriage resulted in four children, including the Bavarian Reichsrat and Württemberg registrar Otto von Quadt-Wykradt-Isny and the Reichstag member Friedrich von Quadt-Wykradt-Isny (1818-1892).

Life

Wilhelm was a landowner in Swabia, Württemberg and Upper Bavaria. He was the lord of the city and rule of Isny ​​in the Oberamt Wangen, Erbdrost and hereditary steward of the Principality of Geldern and the County of Zütphen. He was also the royal chamberlain of Württemberg. In this function he was a member of the Estates' Assemblies from 1816 to 1848 and later of the First Chamber of the Württemberg Lands . He was the owner of the small Württemberg aristocratic decoration and since 1834 has been the recipient of the commentary cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown .
