Henriette Wilhelmine Palmer , b. Bossert (born November 26, 1818 in Tübingen ; † February 3, 1895 ibid) became famous for her portrait of the painter Christoph Friedrich Dörr .

She was the daughter of the Tübingen businessman Immanuel Gottlob Bossert (born December 3, 1789) and his wife Wilhelmine Bossert, b. Hößner (February 8, 1798 in Heilbronn ) and granddaughter of the Tübingen mayor Johann Immanuel Bossert . Since April 25, 1839 she was married to the Tübingen Protestant theologian Christian David Friedrich Palmer , to whom she had become engaged the year before after taking piano lessons from him. The modest conditions of house and salary did not disturb the undemanding spirit of the couple, and together they had two daughters and two sons, including Heinrich Palmer (born March 25, 1849 in Tübingen).
