The Wilkinson Peaks are a group of mountain peaks in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . They rise 8 km southeast of Mount Griffiths in the Napier Mountains .
Norwegian cartographers, who named them Langnabbane (Norwegian for Long Summit ), mapped them using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 . A sled team visited them in 1961 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named them after Brian Geoffrey Wilkinson, assistant diesel engine mechanic at Mawson Station in 1961.
