Willem Frans Cox

Willem Frans Cox (* around 1691; † February 23, 1753 in Liège ) was a priest in the Teutonic Order .

Life

After completing his novitiate , begun in Maastricht in 1715 , Cox made his profession on February 23, 1716 in the local Kommende Neuenbiesen , in whose priestly convent he remained until 1718. Then the Latin, German, French and Dutch speaking Cox became pastor in Ordingen on April 23, 1718 , which he remained until 1721. Already since 1719 administrator of the German College, the seminary of the order in Leuven, he was appointed president and head there in 1721. Appointed Comtur and Pastor of Saint-Andre on May 6th, 1726 , he left Leuven and went to Liège.
