Willemijn Karsten (born June 28, 1986 in Hoorn ) is a former Dutch handball player .

Willemijn Karsten played in her home country for Zeeman Vastgoed SEW, with whom she won the Dutch championship twice. In 2007 the backcourt player moved to the Bundesliga club Buxtehuder SV . After a season in which the right-hander played 24 games for BSV, she moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga Borussia Dortmund . From summer 2009 she played with the DJK / MJC Trier . On April 28, 2011 it was announced that she will be under contract with Thuringian HC from the 2011/12 season . With the THC she won the German championship in 2012. Then she ended her career.
