Willfried Gasser ( Wilf Gasser , not to be confused with Wilf Gasser , also from Hallau) (born November 23, 1957 ) is a Swiss doctor and has been President of the Swiss Evangelical Alliance since 2008 . From 2005 to 2010 he was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern for the Evangelical People's Party .

Wilf Gasser lives in Wabern near Bern and today works as a management consultant at xpand Switzerland , as a sex therapist , supervisor and coach. He has been President of the Swiss Evangelical Alliance since 2008 and Associate Secretary General of the World Evangelical Alliance since 2012 . In addition, he is involved in other church bodies. Wilf Gasser is part of the management team of Vineyard Bern, of the leadership conference of the Association of Evangelical Free Churches and Congregations in Switzerland and is the coordinator of MarriageWeek.ch in German-speaking Switzerland. Before that he was President of the Men's Forum in German-speaking Switzerland. Wilf Gasser is married and has three grown children.

As a politician, he was particularly concerned with welfare, health issues and the protection of children against pornography . He hit the headlines in 2005 when he initiated an article in the free newspaper 20 Minuten that a controversial AIDS aid brochure that explicitly explained homosexual practices could no longer be distributed to pupils under the age of 16 in schools in the canton of Bern .
