William Hall Berry (born August 20, 1867 in Calton , † February 5, 1919 in Hillhead ) was a Scottish football player .
Career
William Hall Berry was born on August 20, 1867 in the Glasgow district of Calton .
Playing as a right inward striker, Berry was active as a youth for the local Rawcliffe FC team before joining Queen's Park FC . During his later career he stayed with the Glasgow club. He won the Scottish Cup final against FC Vale of Leven with the team in 1890 .
On March 17, 1888 Berry made his debut for the Scottish national team against England . Despite a 5-0 home defeat, he played three more times against rivals in international matches over the next three years .
He died in Hillhead , Glasgow , in February 1919 . He was the older brother of the Scottish national soccer player Davidson Berry .
