William Bowie (born December 31, 1869 in Govan , † June 9, 1934 ibid) was a Scottish football player .

Career

William Bowie played during his active football career for the Scottish clubs FC Linthouse and FC Clyde from Glasgow . After Bowie started his career at Linthouse , he played for Clyde until the mid-1890s , after which he returned to his old place of work.

On March 28, 1891 Bowie completed an international game for the Scottish national football team during the British Home Championship 1890/91 against the selection of Ireland in Celtic Park in Glasgow.
