William Collazo
William Collazo Gutiérrez (born August 31, 1986 in Havana ) is a Cuban sprinter .
He took part in the World Athletics Championships in 2007 in Osaka and in Berlin in 2009 and in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. There he reached the semi-finals in the 400-meter run .
At the Central American and Caribbean Championships in 2009 in his hometown Havana, he won the 400 meter title. He celebrated the most significant success of his career so far at the 2010 World Indoor Athletics Championships in Doha, when he surprisingly won the silver medal in the 400-meter run. At the 2011 World Athletics Championships in Daegu, he was eliminated in the semi-finals.
