William Ferrers, 7th Baron Ferrers of Chartley

William Ferrers, 7th Baron Ferrers of Chartley (after another count also William Ferrers, 6th Baron Ferrers of Chartley ) (* around 1412, † June 9, 1450 ) was an English nobleman.

William Ferrers came from the old English noble Ferrers family . He was the eldest son of Edmund Ferrers, 6th Baron Ferrers of Chartley, and his wife Ellen Roche. After the death of his father in 1435 he inherited his possessions and the title of Baron Ferrers of Chartley , through his mother he inherited Bromwich Castle in Warwickshire . However, he was never called to parliament . He married Elizabeth Bealknap († May 28, 1471), a daughter of Hamon Bealknap from Seintlynge near St Mary Cray in Kent and his wife John Boteler. With her he had a daughter:

After his death, his only daughter Anne inherited the title of Baroness Ferrers of Chartley . She also inherited part of his estates, while other parts of his land ownership went to his younger brother Edmund Ferrers .
