Edmund Ferrers, 6th Baron Ferrers of Chartley (also Edmund de Ferrers ; according to another count also Edmund Ferrers, 5th Baron Ferrers of Chartley ) (* around 1386; † December 17, 1435 ) was an English nobleman and military.

Edmund Ferrers came from the old English noble Ferrers family . He was the eldest son of Robert Ferrers, 5th Baron Ferrers of Chartley and his second wife Margaret le Despenser. After his father's death in 1413, he inherited his estate and the title of Baron Ferrers of Chartley , but was never called to parliament . After he had taken up his heritage, he was in a feud with Sir Hugh earth Wick , one of his neighbors in Staffordshire involved that only through the intervention of King Henry V was completed. Part of the punishment imposed by the king on him was participation in the king's campaign to France in 1415. Ferrers distinguished himself at the Battle of Azincourt and continued to fight in France for the next few years. After the death of Henry V in 1422, he returned to England.

Ferrers married Ellen Roche, the second daughter of Thomas Roche and his wife Birmingham. Since his father-in-law had no surviving male descendants, his wife inherited part of her father's estates, including Bromwich Castle in Warwickshire . Ferrers had several children with his wife, including:

After his death, his widow married Sir Philip Chetwynd of Ingestre , Staffordshire, a second marriage . His heir became his eldest son, William.
