William Hill (athlete, 1896)

William Hill ( William Arthur Hill; born October 31, 1896 in the Municipal Borough of Bromley , London , † 1958 in Royal Tunbridge Wells ) was a British sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920, he was fourth in the 4 x 100 meter relay . Over 100 m he reached the semi-finals and over 200 m the quarter-finals.

In 1919 he became English champion over 100 yards and 220 yards.
