William Kramer
William Kramer (born January 23, 1884 in Melville , New York , † February 29, 1964 in New York City ) was an American long-distance runner .
At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, he did not reach the finish line either in the cross-country run or in the 10,000 m run .
He was US cross-country champion three times (1909, 1911, 1912) and once over five miles (1910). In 1913 he was US indoor champion over two miles. On June 8, 1912, he set a continental record over 10,000 m in Cambridge with 31: 43.6 minutes .
