William Tonji N'Gounou (born 31 July 1983 in Bangangté , Cameroon ; and William Ngounou ) is a Nigerien football players . He was active as a striker for the Nigerien national soccer team from 2011 to 2013 .

career

William N'Gounou began his professional career in 2000 at the Cameroonian club Kadji Sports Academy in Douala . He stayed there until 2003 when he joined the Nigerien association ASFAN Niamey . In 2008 he moved to the Swedish club Malmö Anadolu BI , which operated under the name FC Rosengård from the end of the 2008 season. There N'Gounou played 53 league games. He moved in 2011 to also include Malmö -based IF Limhamn Bunkeflo where he participated in 29 league games. Since 2013 he has been under contract with the Swedish association KSF Prespa Birlik .

For the Nigerien selection N'Gounou made his debut in 2011. He played 17 internationals until his retirement from the national team in 2013.
