William Richardson (athlete)

William Richardson ( William Hord "Bill" Richardson; born December 25, 1903 in Los Angeles ; † December 28, 1969 ibid.) Was an American middle -distance runner who had specialized in the 800-meter distance .

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he was fifth in 1: 53.7 minutes.

He set his personal best over 880 yards of 1: 53.8 min (corresponds to 1: 53.1 min over 800 m) on April 17, 1926 in Palo Alto .
