Rohnsdorf is a village in the municipality of Liebenfels in the Sankt Veit an der Glan district in Carinthia . The village has 86 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). It lies partly in the area of the cadastral community of Liebenfels , and partly in the area of the cadastral community of Hardegg ; before 1958 the village was also divided into two political communities.
location
The village is located in the southwest of the Sankt Veit an der Glan district, south of the municipal capital Liebenfels . The northeastern part of the village lies in the area of the cadastral community of Liebenfels, the rest of the village in the area of the cadastral community of Hardegg.
history
The place was named as Vronsdorf in 1444 . From 1616 the branch church St. Magdalena was located in the village, which burned down in 1767. The border between the district courts Hardegg and Karlsberg ran through the village, which is why the border between the cadastral communities was drawn across the village. In the first half of the 19th century, the northeastern part of the village belonged to the tax district of Karlsberg as part of the tax community Feistritz (today's name: Liebenfels) , the rest of the village as part of the tax community Hardegg belonged to the tax district Hardegg . When the local congregations were founded in the course of the reforms after the 1848/49 revolution, the northeastern part came to the Feistritz community ( renamed Pulst community in 1865 ), the rest of the village to the Hardegg community . A major fire in 1900 destroyed 13 buildings. In 1958, the entire village came to the Liebenfels community, which was then created through the merger of the Hardegg, Pulst and Liemberg communities .
