Radelsdorf (in the 19th century also Radlsdorf ) is a village in the municipality of Liebenfels in the Sankt Veit an der Glan district in Carinthia . The village has 123 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). It lies entirely in the area of ​​the Rosenbichl cadastral community .

Alberer farm

The village is located in the southwest of the Sankt Veit an der Glan district, on the northern edge of the Glantalboden , northeast of Liebenfels , with which the village has grown together over the past few decades. The Alberer farm, a few hundred meters further northeast, and an industrial park on Ossiacher Strasse also belong to the village .

history

Münzmeisterhof

The place is called in 1200 as Raedeldorf (= village of Radilo ). The oldest building still in existence in the village is house no. 4, commonly known as Münzmeister .

As part of the tax community Rosenbichl the village belonged in the first half of the 19th century to the tax district Rosenbichl . When the local parishes were formed in the course of the reforms after the revolution of 1848/49, the village came to the municipality of Feistritz , which was renamed the municipality of Pulst in 1865 . Since 1958 the village has belonged to the municipality of Liebenfels, which was created by the merger of Liemberg , Hardegg and Pulst and was expanded in 1972 to include the former municipality of Sörg .
