Zwattendorf is a place in Carinthia . The boundary between the cadastral communities of Liemberg and Sankt Urban runs through the village , which is also the boundary between the political communities of Liebenfels and Sankt Urban and between the districts of Sankt Veit an der Glan and Feldkirchen . As a result, the place is divided into two localities : the village of Zwattendorf in the municipality of Liebenfels has 0 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020), the village of Zwattendorf in the municipality of St. Urban has 18 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). Thus the place has a total of 18 inhabitants.

location

The place is located in Central Carinthia, in the Liembergbachtal between Sankt Urban and Liemberg , south of the Gößberg . A cadastral parish boundary runs through the place: the center of the town, through which the cadastral parish boundary previously ran, has been entirely within the territory of the cadastral parish of Sankt Urban since 1973; a courtyard south-east outside the town center is in the area of the Liemberg cadastral community.

history

The place was mentioned in 1258 as Zwetendorf , which is derived from the Slovenian Svet (= saint).

In the first half of the 19th century, the tax or cadastral municipality border ran right through the town: the western part was in the tax municipality of Sankt Urban and thus belonged to the Glanegg tax district , the eastern part was in the Liemberg tax municipality and belonged to the Liemberg tax district . When the local congregations were formed in the course of the reforms after the 1848/49 revolution, the western part came to the municipality of Sankt Urban, the eastern part to the municipality of Liemberg, and in 1958 to the municipality of Liebenfels, which was created by the merger of the municipalities of Liemberg, Hardegg and Pulst .

In the course of the municipal structural reform in 1973 , the cadastral municipality boundary in the Zwattendorf area was moved to the east, so that since then most of the place has belonged to the municipality of Sankt Urban. Only the farm known as Klocker (house no. 5 and 5a) remained with the municipality of Liebenfels.
