history

The place was mentioned in 1230 as Draezeldorf (from Slovene drznica , = drainage ditch ), from 1253 it is called St. Leonhard . The border between the regional courts Glanegg and Kraig-Nussberg, which corresponds to today's district border, ran through the village.

In the first half of the 19th century, the part of the village that was part of the tax community of Tauchendorf belonged to the Glanegg tax district . When the local parishes were formed in the course of the reforms after the revolution of 1848/49, these houses came to the community of Tauchendorf , which was attached to the community of Glanegg in 1956. The houses located in the area of the tax community Rottschaft Feistritz were part of the tax district Kraig and Nussberg in the first half of the 19th century . When the local congregations were formed in the middle of the 19th century, these houses came first to the community of Glantschach , and in 1875 to the community of Pulst . Through the merger of the municipalities of Pulst, Liemberg and Hardegg in 1958, the village became part of the Liebenfels municipality.

In 1973 the population voted for the entire village to be connected to the Liebenfels community, but the state of Carinthia did not approve a corresponding change to the district and community boundaries.
