The place is in the south of the district of Sankt Veit an der Glan, about 4 kilometers southwest of the center of the district capital Sankt Veit an der Glan, on the northern edge of the Glantalboden. The border between the cadastral municipalities of Rosenbichl (municipality of Liebenfels) in the north and Hörzendorf (municipality of Sankt Veit an der Glan) in the south runs along Ossiacher Straße , which passes south of the town center.

With the exception of the Glantalerhof south of Ossiacher Straße and its ancillary buildings, the village includes the village of Lebmach and Hof Wrießnegger to the north .

history

In the first half of the 19th century, the buildings in Lebmach, which are located in the tax community of Rosenbichl, belonged to the tax district of Rosenbichl . When the political communities were created in the mid-19th century, the place became part of the Feistritz community , which was renamed the Pulst community in 1875 . Since a municipality merger in 1958, the village has belonged to the Liebenfels municipality.

The buildings in Lebmach, which are located in the Hörzendorf tax community, belonged to the Karlsberg tax district in the first half of the 19th century . When the political communities were created in the middle of the 19th century, the place became part of the Hörzendorf community (which was initially called Karlsberg ), which merged into the community of Sankt Veit an der Glan in 1972.
