Tanzenberg Castle

The small village, which is dominated by the mighty Tanzenberg Castle , is located in the south of the Sankt Veit an der Glan district, on the back of the Tanzenberg, west of the Zollfeld.

history

Lying in the control community dance mountain, the place belonged in the first half of the 19th century to the tax district Tanzenberg . When the local congregations were formed as part of the reforms after the 1848/49 revolution, Tanzenberg came to the Hörzendorf community (which was initially run under the name of Karlsberg community), and in 1972 to the Sankt Veit an der Glan community.
