The village is located in the south of the municipality of Sankt Veit an der Glan and the district of Sankt Veit an der Glan in the Glantaler Bergland , at the northeast foot of the Ulrichsberg .

history

Lying in the tax municipality of Galling, the place belonged to the tax district of Karlsberg in the first half of the 19th century . When the local congregations were formed in the course of the reforms after the 1848/49 revolution, Galling came to the Hörzendorf community (which was initially known as the Karlsberg community ), and in 1972 to the Sankt Veit an der Glan community.
