The cadastral community of Niederdorf is one of seven cadastral communities in the municipality of Sankt Veit an der Glan in the Sankt Veit an der Glan district in Carinthia . It has an area of ​​569.16 hectares.

The cadastral community belongs to the district of the Klagenfurt land surveying office.

location

The cadastral municipality is located in the middle of the municipality of Sankt Veit an der Glan, in the south of the Sankt Veit an der Glan district. It is located in the Glantaler Bergland immediately south of the district capital and extends from Muraunberg in the north to near Hörzendorfer See in the south and from Hörzendorf in the west to the edge of the town of St. Andrä in the east. The cadastral community extends over an altitude of 470  m above sea level. A. on the northern edge of the Zollfeld on the southeast border of the cadastral community up to 708  m above sea level. Localities

The localities Arndorf , Baardorf , Holz , Muraunberg , Niederdorf , Streimberg and Zwischenbergen are entirely within the territory of the Niederdorf cadastral community . In addition, the eastern part of the village of Hörzendorf and a small part of the village of St. Andrä (ancillary building of the Planhof ) are within the cadastral community.

As long as the cadastral community of Niederdorf belonged to the community of Hörzendorf, a house on the eastern edge of the cadastral community formed the village of Blintendorf ; today that house is counted as part of the village of Muraunberg.

The cadastral municipality has belonged to the district of the Klagenfurt land surveying office since January 1st, 1998. Before that, she was part of the district of the St. Veit an der Glan land surveying office.

At the end of the 18th century, the Carinthian tax communities (later: cadastral communities) were formed and assigned to tax districts. The Niederdorf tax municipality became part of the Karlsberg tax district .

In the course of the reforms after the revolution of 1848/49, the tax districts in Carinthia were dissolved and local communities were formed, each encompassing the area of ​​one or more tax communities. The tax and cadastral municipality of Niederdorf became part of the municipality of Hörzendorf , which was initially called the municipality of Karlsberg . The size of the cadastral community was given in 1854 as 988 Austrian yokes and 444 fathoms (approx. 569 hectares, i.e. today's area); at that time 230 people lived in the area of ​​the cadastral community. In 1972, the Niederdorf cadastral community became part of the Sankt Veit an der Glan community.

From 1850 the cadastral community of Niederdorf belonged to the political district of Sankt Veit an der Glan and to the judicial district of Sankt Veit an der Glan . From 1854 to 1868 it belonged to the mixed district of Sankt Veit an der Glan . Since the reform in 1868, it has again been part of the political district of Sankt Veit an der Glan and the judicial district of Sankt Veit an der Glan.

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 57 building areas with 43,474 m² and 87 gardens on 262,020 m² in the cadastral community of Niederdorf , in 1989/1990 there were 49 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 136 and in 2009/2010 there were 97 buildings on 164 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 322 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 168 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 333 hectares and 217 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 311 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 216 hectares. The average soil climate number of Niederdorf is 47.2 (as of 2010).
