In the first half of the 19th century, comprising houses in the tax communities of Sankt Donat (the area of today's Mairist) and Goggerwenig (the area of today's Pirkfeld), Milbersdorf was then part of the Osterwitz tax district . When the local parishes were formed in the course of the reforms after the revolution of 1848/49, Milbersdorf came to the parish of St. Georgen am Längsee .

In 1895 the cadastral community of Sankt Donat with the core area of the village of Milbersdorf came to the then newly founded community of St. Donat . Pirkfeld stayed with the municipality of St. Georgen am Längsee and has since formed its own village.
