Arndorf is a village in the municipality of Sankt Veit an der Glan in the Sankt Veit an der Glan district in Carinthia . The village has 6 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). It lies on the territory of the Niederdorf cadastral community .

location

Bierbaumer farm (No. 1).

The village is located in the Glantaler Bergland in the south of the Sankt Veit district, between the Muraunberg and the village of Hörzendorf . It includes the Bierbaumer farm (house no.1 ) to the west just outside Hörzendorf, the elementary school (house no.5 ) on the Muraunberg state road L72a , as well as a small settlement already known as Arndorf in the Franziszeischen cadastre (house no.2 , 3 , 4).

history

Located in the Niederdorf tax municipality, the place belonged to the Karlsberg tax district in the first half of the 19th century . When the local congregations were formed in the course of the reforms after the 1848/49 revolution, Arndorf came to the Hörzendorf community (which was initially run under the name of Karlsberg community ), and in 1972 to the Sankt Veit an der Glan community.
