The cadastral municipality of Tanzenberg is one of seven cadastral municipalities in the municipality of St. Veit an der Glan in the Sankt Veit an der Glan district in Carinthia . It has an area of ​​377.09 hectares.

The cadastral community belongs to the district of the Klagenfurt land surveying office.

location

The cadastral municipality is located in the south of the municipality of Sankt Veit an der Glan and the district of Sankt Veit an der Glan. It is located in the Glantaler Bergland northwest of the Zollfeld and extends from the Rabenkogel south of Hörzendorf in the north to near the village of Kading in the south and from the edge of the village of Pörtschach am Berg in the west to the edge of the Zollfeld in the east. Localities

The towns of Tanzenberg , Affelsdorf , Gersdorf , Laasdorf and Raggasaal are entirely in the area of ​​the Tanzenberg cadastral community . In addition, at the time the Franziszeische cadastre was drawn up, a small part of the town of Höfern was located in the area of ​​the cadastral community of Tanzenberg, of which only houses in the area of ​​the community of Maria Saal have survived today .

At the end of the 18th century, the Carinthian tax communities (later: cadastral communities) were formed and assigned to tax districts. The Tanzenberg tax municipality became part of the Tanzenberg tax district .

In the course of the reforms after the revolution of 1848/49, the tax districts in Carinthia were dissolved and local communities were formed, each encompassing the area of ​​one or more tax communities. The tax and cadastral municipality of Tanzenberg became part of the municipality of Hörzendorf , which was initially called the municipality of Karlsberg . The size of the cadastral community was given in 1854 as 656 Austrian yokes and 973 fathoms (approx. 378 hectares, roughly the current area); at that time 113 people lived in the area of ​​the cadastral community. In 1972 the Tanzenberg cadastral community became part of the Sankt Veit an der Glan community.

The cadastral municipality of Tanzenberg belonged from 1850 to the political district of Sankt Veit an der Glan and to the judicial district of Sankt Veit an der Glan . From 1854 to 1868 it belonged to the mixed district of Sankt Veit an der Glan . Since the reform in 1868, it has again been part of the political district of Sankt Veit an der Glan and the judicial district of Sankt Veit an der Glan.

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 29 building areas with 36,916 m² and 78 gardens on 371,858 m² in the cadastral community of Tanzenberg , in 1989/1990 there were 26 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 57 and in 2009/2010 there were 35 buildings on 59 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture and forestry. 148 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 175 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 176 hectares and 183 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 162 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 191 hectares. The average soil climate in Tanzenberg is 42 (as of 2010).
