Andreas Fejer-Konnerth (born February 1, 1964 in Oderhellen , Romania ) is a German table tennis player of Romanian descent. He took part in three European championships and won four national German championships .

The table tennis player Zoltan Fejer-Konnerth is his cousin.

Career

Andreas Fejer-Konnerth started his career in Romania. In 1981 and 1983 he was the Romanian individual champion. In doubles he won six times (1981, 1982 with Simion Crisan, 1984 to 1987 with Vasile Florea ), in mixed three times (from 1982 to 1984 with Maria Alboiu ). In 1984 , 1986 and 1988 he was nominated for the European Championships. He had his greatest success in 1984 when he reached the quarter-finals in mixed with Maria Alboiu.

After the European Championship in Paris in 1988 - at the end of March - he did not return to Romania and emigrated to Germany. His cousin Zoltan Fejer-Konnerth followed him in 1990. First, Andreas Fejer-Konnerth joined the TTF Ochsenhausen club , which at that time was still playing in the regional league. In mid-1988 he received German citizenship. Since then he has been active for several clubs in the Bundesliga .

In the 1990s he often took part in the German championships . Here he won five medals in mixed with Olga Nemes , namely gold in 1991 , 1992 , 1993 and 1997 and silver in 1998 . He also reached the semi-finals in 1993.

Later, Andreas Fejer-Konnerth took part successfully in senior tournaments. He won the 2013 European Over 40 Championship in doubles with Georg Böhm . At the Senior World Championships in 2008 he also won gold in doubles (with Traian Ciociu).

Private

Andreas Fejer-Konnerth is married and has children.
