William Roerick
William Roerick (born December 17, 1911 in Hoboken , New Jersey as William Roehrich , † November 30, 1995 in Monterey , Massachusetts) was an American actor .
Life
The actor began his theater career in 1936 with " Hamlet " at the side of John Gielgud , Lillian Gish and Judith Anderson and with Romeo and Juliet together with Katharine Cornell .
It wasn't until 1953 that he appeared in front of the camera for the first time in a TV production. Numerous series and a few films followed.
In later years he had another great success in the US soap Springfield Story , where he played Henry Chamberlain from 1980 until his death in 1995.
William Roerick died in a car accident.
