William Zouche, 2nd Baron Zouche of Haryngworth

William Zouche, 2nd Baron Zouche of Haryngworth (also William II. Zouche or William of Totnes ; * around 1317, † April 23, 1382 ) was an English nobleman.

He came from the Zouche family and was a son of Eudo II , who fled to France in 1326 after a feud, where he died. Like his grandfather William Zouche , William II entered the service of the king. In 1337 he accompanied Bishop Henry Burghersh when he traveled to Germany as a royal envoy. During the Hundred Years War he took part in the siege of Calais in 1347 . While his grandfather was still alive, he became a member of parliament as Baron Zouche in 1348 , and after his grandfather's death in 1352 he inherited the title of Baron Zouche of Haryngworth . Between 1351 and 1380 he held various local offices in Northamptonshire . In October 1362 he began a pilgrimage to the Holy Land . He was buried in Biddlesden Abbey .

Before July 1334 he married Elizabeth Ros, daughter of William de Ros, 2nd Baron de Ros and of Margery de Badlesmere. He and his wife had two daughters and three sons, including:
