Willibald Toscher

Willibald Toscher (born July 24, 1948 in Salzwedel ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Toscher attended the Polytechnische Oberschule in Salzwedel and did an apprenticeship as an electrician at the company vocational school Energie Genthin . At the engineering college in Zittau he acquired the title of university engineer for electrical energy. The professional electrician worked from 1973 in various companies in the field of investments and from 1987 to 1990 as managing director of the purchasing and supply cooperative Metall Salzwedel. After the reunification he was among other things co-owner of the Technische Dienst GmbH in Schwerin .

Toscher joined the CDU in February 1989 , where he was deputy chairman in the Salzwedel district and there was also a member of the board of the CDU / CSU's medium-sized and business association . In 1990 he was a member of the last People's Chamber and, until the end of the year, also of the German Bundestag . He later became chairman of the community foundation in Altmarkkreis Salzwedel .
