Willie Bee

Willie Bee (actually Willie B. James ; * 1910 in Yazoo City , Mississippi ; † 1942 ) was an American blues singer and guitarist .

Willie Bee played in Chicago in the 1930s . Although he recorded only four pieces of music under his own name (of which only two, namely the tracks Ramblin 'Mind Blues and Can't Control My Mind were released on the Vocalion label in 1937 ), he was considered a capable guitar accompanist for example with Bumble Bee Slim ( Queen Bee Blues 1932 on Vocalion) and Tampa Red ( Delta Woman Blues 1937 on Bluebird ) made recordings.
