The Willow River is one of three rivers of that name in eastern Minnesota in the United States of America.
It is a short tributary of the Kettle River . About the Kettle and the St. Croix Rivers , it is part of the catchment area of the Mississippi River .
The Willow River flows all its way in Pine County . It rises in the Nemadji State Forest in Nickerson Township and flows generally west through Kerrick , Windemere , Norman and Kettle River Townships, through Duquette . The Little Willow River , which rises near Kerrick, flows into Windemere Township . It flows on through Bruno and Norman Townships.
The Willow River flows into the Kettle River near the town of Willow River.
