Willy Trapp
Willy Trapp (born January 28, 1923 ; † October 28, 2013 ) was a German church musician, composer, arranger and lyricist. He wrote a variety of sacred and secular choral works as well as instrumental music and teaching literature, etc. a. for piano, recorder and electric organ. He studied at the Gregoriushaus in Aachen, was a church musician first at the collegiate church in Bonn, later at the Catholic Church of St. Petrus Canisius in Cologne-Buchforst . Willy Trapp led various choirs and instrumental ensembles. Because of his numerous works he is well known not only among amateur choirs.
