Willy Wolfermann (* 1898 ; † 1973 ) was a Hessian politician ( center , CDU Hessen ), mayor of Kriftel and long-time state manager of the center and the CDU.

Willy Wolfermann did a craft apprenticeship, worked as a locksmith and as a white binder. He later worked for the Deutsche Reichsbahn . In 1919 he joined the Windthorstbund and in 1920 the Center Party. After the hyperinflation , the Federation of the Center Party in Hessen-Nassau had the means to appoint a full-time Secretary General in 1924. From 1924 to 1930 he was General Secretary of the Frankfurt and Nassau Center Party.

1930–1933 Willy Wolfermann was organizational leader of the Catholic male youth in the youth center in Düsseldorf (the youth center in Düsseldorf had been the general secretariat for the Central Association of Catholic Young Men 's Associations in Germany with 115 employees since 1908) and a member of the Reich leadership of the Catholic Young Men' s Association .

In the time of National Socialism he could not continue his political work. After the end of the war, he was one of the founders of the CDU and was chairman of the CDU in the Main-Taunus district from 1945 to 1946 . From 1945 to 1946 he was mayor of Kriftel. In 1946 he was also a co-founder of the JU Hessen. After retiring as mayor, he worked full-time for his party. From 1946 to 1948 he was district manager of the CDU Frankfurt (the then district included the CDU Frankfurt and the surrounding districts) and from 1948 to 1960 regional manager of the CDU Hesse.

As state manager, he was initially a supporter of Werner Hilpert's left-wing politics . After the lost state elections in Hesse in 1950 , the party's course changed and Willy Wolfermann lost the trust of part of the state executive. However, he remained in office and did not leave office for health reasons until the turn of the year 1959/60.
