Willys Go Devil
The Willys L134 (nickname "Go Devil") is a four-cylinder in - line engine ( Otto engine ), which was best known for its use in the US jeep of World War II . The engine with upright valves and triple bearing crankshaft has a cylinder bore of 79.4 mm (3 1 ⁄ 8 inches ), a piston stroke of 111.1 mm (4 3 ⁄ 8 inches) and a displacement of 2199 cm³ (134.22 in³ ). The 6.48: 1 compressed motor provides 45 kW (60 hp ) at 4000 / min; the maximum torque is 142 N m (105 lbf ft) at 2000 rpm. The firing order is 1-3-4-2.
From 1950 the L134 was replaced by the counter-steered Willys Hurricane engine.
