Wim Laseroms

Wilhelmus Nicolaas Mattheus "Wim" Laseroms (born December 27, 1944 in Oudenbosch ) is a Dutch conductor and composer for wind orchestra .

Life

Laseroms studied school music and brass music direction at the Brabant Conservatory in Tilburg and in Rotterdam , with Henk van Lijnschooten and Rocus van Yperen , among others . In 1978 he passed the exam for wind orchestra conductor. From 1966 to 1991 Laseroms was the conductor of the FCO Bosschenhoofd fanfare orchestra, in which he had already played the drum as a child. From 1972 to 2000 he conducted the Sint Cecilia Zegge Symphonic Wind Orchestra.
