Fontys Conservatory
The Fontys Conservatorium (formerly: Brabants Conservatorium ) in Tilburg is one of the nine conservatories in the Netherlands . The history goes back to the year 1912. Today it is a part of the Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten , which belongs to the private university operator Fontys .
The courses offered are classical music , improvisation , musical theater and early music .
A few years ago , the Fontys Conservatorium founded the Zuid Nederlandse Hogeschool voor Muziek (South Netherlands University of Music) in cooperation with the Maastricht State Conservatory for postgraduate studies ( Masters ) .
