Wimpasing is a church village and a former municipality in the district of Freising, Bavaria. Wimpasing has been part of the Attenkirchen community since April 1, 1971 .
history
The Church of the Finding of the Cross in Wimpasing is a rectangular hall building with a late Romanesque core and an apse around 1280/1300. The building was renewed around 1500 and several times in the 19th century, the roof turrets date from 1867.
The political community Wimpasing came into being with the community edict of 1818. In the course of the community area reform on April 1, 1971 the community Wimpasing was incorporated into Attenkirchen.
