The Immenrode wind farm is a wind farm in the Feldmark of the Lower Saxon town of Immenrode , a district of Goslar in the Goslar district .

history

At the beginning of 1998 the Immenrode wind farm consisted of 4 Enercon E-40s with 500 kW each. At the end of 2002, 2 Vestas V80s with 2 MW each were added. Volkswind Vienenburg invested around 10 million euros in the first repowering in 2011. As of 2011, 3 newer Vestas turbines, each with 2 to 3 MW, replaced 2 of the 4 Enercon E-40s.

Repowering

As part of a further repowering , the other two E-40s were replaced by a newer E-115 with 3 MW in December 2017.
