The Jaulín wind farm is located approx. 2.5 kilometers west of the municipality of Jaulín in the province of Zaragoza in Spain at an altitude of 643 meters.
A Gamesa G10X, the prototype of the G128-4.5MW , with a nominal output of 4.5 megawatts has been in operation since June 2009 . With a rotor diameter of 128 meters, it was the wind power plant with the largest rotor in the world at the time and therefore larger than, for example, the Enercon E-126 . The rotor was mounted on a 120 meter high tower.
On July 1, 2011, this plant had generated 98.26 megawatt hours of electricity, with a mathematical maximum of 108 MWh (4.5 MW * 24 hours).
At the end of 2011 a second G128-4.5MW was erected approx. 650 meters away.
