Winfried Mante
Winfried Mante (born February 11, 1948 in Storkow , Pasewalk district , Brandenburg) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the German Bundestag .
Life
Mante left high school in 1964 and began an apprenticeship as an electrician. He then studied at a technical college and graduated in 1973 as an electrical engineer. In between he did his military service from 1967 to 1969. After completing his studies, he worked as the head of a planning office for building services systems. He has been a member of the SPD since 1990 and was, among other things, chairman of the SPD local association in Eisenhüttenstadt . He was a city councilor in Eisenhüttenstadt and a district councilor in the Oder-Spree district. From 1994 to 2002 he was a member of the German Bundestag as a directly elected member of the constituency of Frankfurt (Oder) - Eisenhüttenstadt - Beeskow .
