The constituency of Frankfurt (Oder) - Oder-Spree (constituency 63) is a federal constituency in Brandenburg . In addition to the city of Frankfurt (Oder), it includes the area of the Oder-Spree district . In the 2013 federal election, 199,341 residents were eligible to vote.

history

The constituency has existed in its current form since the constituency reform of 2002 . In the course of reducing the number of constituencies in Brandenburg from twelve to ten, the previous constituency 279 Frankfurt (Oder) - Eisenhüttenstadt - Beeskow was enlarged by the southern part of the dissolved constituency 277 Fürstenwalde - Strausberg - Seelow . The constituency 279 Frankfurt (Oder) - Eisenhüttenstadt - Beeskow included the independent cities of Frankfurt Oder and Eisenhüttenstadt and the districts of Eisenhüttenstadt and Beeskow .

In 2005 it had constituency number 63, in 2009 it was number 64 and since 2013 it was number 63 again.
