Winfried Scheuer
Winfried Scheuer (* 1952 in Calw , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German designer and professor .
life and work
Winfried Scheuer was born in Calw in 1952. In 1973 he began studying at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart . After completing his studies in 1977, he worked for Uli Schade Design until 1979 and received a DAAD scholarship for the Royal College of Art in London in 1979 , where he completed his master's degree in 1981 . From 1983 to 1986 Winfried Scheuer worked for ID Two in Palo Alto , San Francisco. a. for Xerox and Grid Systems. He has been freelance in London since 1986, working for Authentics , Aero and Teunen & Teunen , among others . Scheuer published in the magazines "Forum" and "Blueprint". He was the London correspondent for Form magazine from 1987-1998.
Scheuer was a professor at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart from 1999 to 2018 .
