Winfried Wachter

Winfried Wachter (born October 5, 1921 in Friedrichshafen ; † January 24, 2018 in Memmingen ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

Wachter attended school in Immenstadt and Kempten and graduated from high school. He took part in World War II and was a prisoner of war. He then worked as a tax agent in Memmingen .

Wachter became a member of the FDP in 1952, where he was chairman of the Swabian district association . He was also President of the Chamber of Tax Agents in Munich and a member of the Presidium of the Federal Chamber of Tax Agents. From 1962 to 1966 and from 1970 to 1978 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . He died on January 24, 2018 in Memmingen.
