The Winsnesfjellet is a 2,702 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Sør Rondane mountains, it rises on the west side of the Bergersenfjella .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1973 after the Norwegian geologist Thore Schanke Winsnes (* 1922), head of the Fourth Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1968–1969).
