Winterkälte is a German rhythm 'n' noise music project. It is considered to be style-defining for the genre.

history

After four albums were published, a retrospective followed in 2014; all records were released on the Hands Productions label.

In addition to genre-specific festivals such as E-Tropolis , Maschinenfest , Schlagstrom , Wrocław Industrial , the project often has live performances at major festivals such as the Wave-Gotik-Treffen , the Amphi Festival , the Dark Dance Treffen , the Infest in England or the Summer Darkness Festival .

style

Musically characteristic is a mixture of brutal hardness and complex rhythms that get by without voices and without instruments. In terms of content, the destruction of natural resources is to be addressed. The band itself describes their style as "Drum and Noise".
