history

On September 14, 1924, the cooperative was founded by 26 members. After the catastrophic slump in yields caused by phylloxera and the First World War, this was an emergency community that initially ensured livelihoods . Over the years, a powerful community has developed from this, which is regularly recognized by recognized institutions, for example by the DLG for the sixth time in a row as one of the "Top 100" wineries in Germany.

On July 1, 2010 the winegrowers' cooperative merged with the company from Endingen, which had been in competition to date, a smaller partner with 110 hectares of cultivation area. The resolutions were passed at the two annual general meetings on November 24th and 25th, 2010 and apply retrospectively.
