Wisunt

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wisunt (also Wisund , Latin Wisundus , Wisuntho , u. A. , † between 938 and 960) was bishop of Säben .

He was only mentioned in the series of witnesses of a forged papal bull , in which the correct compilation of the Bavarian bishops refers to the use of a real document and which therefore must have been written between August 28, 938 and September 11, 939, as well as in an undated record in the Brixen tradition book and in the 15th century bishop's catalog (here as Wisumptus ).

Wisunt must have died before Christmas 960, possibly 956 (?).
